Keep up with all the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours, including updates on Takehiro Tomiyasu, Noni Madueke and Benjamin Sesko.
Arsenal are showing a ruthless nature in the transfer market and fans will be hoping this is a sign of things to come in terms of incomings at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have notoriously struggled to sell players and there have been frustrations in recent years over their lack of decisiveness when it comes to acquiring top targets.
Mikel Arteta is hoping that the appointment of Andrea Berta will change those views and so far, the new sporting director is moving with increased efficiency.
So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news ahead of another busy day of action.
Takehiro Tomiyasu agrees termination of Arsenal contract
Arsenal fans have mixed emotions over Takehiro Tomiyasu after the club announced the departure of the defender with a termination of his contract.
The decision was mutually agreed with the Japanese international having struggled horrifically with injuries and is still four to five months away from a full recovery.
The club thanked Tomiyasu for his services in a statement and then the 26-year-old took to Instagram himself to send a heartfelt message to supporters.
Tomiyasu wrote: “After 4 unforgettable years, the time has come for me to say goodbye to this incredible club. Obviously, I have got many things to say, but the thing that I want to tell you guys the most is just thank you for the love you guys gave me.”

Fabrizio Romano confirms new Arsenal talks with Noni Madueke
Arsenal are on the hunt for attacking firepower this summer and have been heavily linked with moves for Eberechi Eze and Rodrygo.
The latest player that the club have held talks with is Chelsea winger Noni Madueke and Fabrizio Romano has claimed the Gunners are maintaining contacts with the player.
Madueke is open to moving to Arsenal and would provide competition for Bukayo Saka, with the ability to also play on the left flank.
A player with Premier League experience is preferred by Arteta and interestingly, the deal has no impact on any move for Eze.
Andrea Berta could move on from Benjamin Sesko talks
Arsenal have been negotiating with RB Leipzig over a deal for striker Benjamin Sesko but talks appear to have hit a stalemate.
According to Sami Mobkel at BBC Sport, former sporting directors Edu Gaspar and Jason Ayto had built a good relationship with Sesko’s agent, which now doesn’t exist with Berta.
The Italian is becoming frustrated by the lack of progress and could move on to other targets, Viktor Gyokeres is a player that Berta admires.
Arteta will want his striker through the door for their pre-season tour of Asia and with time running out, the Gunners will want a breakthrough sooner rather than later.
