That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who reports that the Gunners have been informed of the conditions for the deal.
Arsenal aren’t alone in their interest, as rivals Tottenham are also keeping an eye on the move.
Fabio Vieira snubbed for Porto return
Porto are set to snub Fabio Vieira for a permanent return this summer, claims Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.
The Arsenal star has spent the past season on loan at his former club, looking to regain some of his best form.
However, after some unconvincing performances, it’s been decided that Porto won’t attempt to sign Vieira again.
It leaves the Arsenal midfielder with an uncertain future, as he looks set for an exit this summer.
Nico Williams transfer hits standstill
Arsenal have recently cooled their interest in a move for Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, due to Barcelona’s stance on a deal.
The Blaugrana have been leading the race to sign the Spaniard this summer, seemingly putting the Gunners off making their own move.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, current talks between Barcelona and Williams have come to a standstill.
It could open up the possibility of Arsenal revisiting their interest in Williams before the close of the transfer window.
