Transfer mind games and masterplans are well underway and Arsenal are involved in many of the major storylines.
It is no secret that Arsenal are on the hunt for attacking firepower this summer and Enzo Maresca has sent a clear message to Noni Madueke amid interest from the Gunners.
Andrea Berta is yet to make a breakthrough in negotiations for Benjamin Sesko or Viktor Gyokeres but Mikel Arteta is also eyeing a number of creative midfielders.
Arsenal have enquired over Eberechi Eze but Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr have just made a major play in the transfer market thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo. The Gunners cannot fall for their trick…

Al Nassr make ‘contacts’ with Rodrygo over transfer from Real Madrid
According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Al Nassr have made ‘contacts’ with Arsenal transfer target Rodrygo over a potential move from Real Madrid.
Xabi Alonso is open to Rodrygo leaving the club this summer and the Saudi side are ready to offer the Brazilian a ‘blank cheque’ to join their project.
Ronaldo has identified Rodrygo as the type of profile that will enhance his side’s progression next season.
It remains to be seen whether the Brazilian would be open to a move to Saudi Arabia but the Gunners would struggle to compete with the financial packages offered to the player.
Andrea Berta cannot fall for Al Nassr transfer mind games
Al Nassr are interested in Gabriel Martinelli and are reportedly prepared to offer £72m for Arsenal’s Brazilian winger.
News of ‘contacts’ being made with one of the Gunners’ main transfer targets could be a ploy to force the club’s hand into selling Martinelli.
Berta is under no pressure to sell the 23-year-old and in fact Arsenal want Martinelli to stay, believing that he is ready to have a real impact next season.
It is true that Arsenal need attacking reinforcements but they should not be lured into paying over the odds for any target and whoever does walk through the door, should be exactly the player they want and for the right fee.
