The winger is one of several targets being lined up by Berta as a possible option to bolster scoring possibilities.
Eze was previously part of the Arsenal academy setup before he was released, eventually going on to join QPR, Wycombe and Crystal Palace.

Fabrizio Romano on Cristhian Mosquera deal
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Cristhian Mosquera has given the green light to Arsenal over a possible deal for the defender.
It comes as the Gunners have accelerated their efforts to land the Spanish youth international in a deal from Valencia.
Mosquera is claimed to be keen on joining Arsenal, with talks already held to discuss the project and his place in it.
With more talks prepared, Berta could be close to landing a top, young prospect for the future.
Arsenal show interest in Carlos Augusto
The interest in potential defenders doesn’t stop there, as Arsenal are also eyeing a move for Carlos Augusto of Inter Milan.
That’s according to FC Inter News, which claims that the Gunners have been tracking a switch for the Brazilian.
Arsenal are joined by Atletico Madrid in the race, who have been keeping tabs on him since Berta was there.
With the Italian director now moving to London, he could bring Augusto with him.
