Viktor Gyokeres has told people at his former club Brighton that he is going to sign for Arsenal this summer, Arsenal Insider understands.
The Gunners have been progressing in talks with the Swedish international in hopes of potentially landing his services.

Arsenal may miss out on a defensive target this summer, as rivals Crystal Palace are in talks with Sporting CP over a move for Ousmane Diomande.
That’s according to BBC Sport, which reports that the London outfit are keen on landing the 21-year-old in the weeks ahead.
It’s claimed that the centre-back, who has been of interest to the Gunners, is available for £40 million.
While it could come as a blow to Arsenal, it may make fellow transfer target Marc Guehi available.
