How much Arsenal could earn from Jakub Kiwior sale with add-ons factored in

Arsenal expert Charles Watts has shared what he has heard regarding potential add-ons in the Jakub Kiwior to Porto deal.

Jakub Kiwior is eager to leave Arsenal in search of first-team football and the Portuguese giants are very much on the case.

Porto are looking to strike an initial loan deal for Kiwior which includes an obligation to buy.

Charles Watts, speaking on his YouTube channel, also gave his thoughts on the potential value of the deal, along with those of the fanbase.

Jakub Kiwior deal could fetch Arsenal up to £29.3million with add-ons factored in

According to reports, Arsenal are mulling over a deal for Kiwior worth €26million (£22.5million).

Watts says he has heard that add-ons could potentially take the deal to around €33-34million (£28.5-29.3million).

However, Watts admitted he feels that Kiwior would still be undervalued based on the higher fee.

“The add-ons, as far as I’ve been aware, from conversations I’ve had about Porto qualifying for the Champions League each season, could take it above €30million to about €33-€34million,” said Watts.

“It still feels a little bit undervalued, but it is what it is.”

Why Arsenal are stuck between a rock and a hard place regarding Jakub Kiwior

Watts is not the only person to feel this way about the Kiwior valuation, with Arsenal fans having made their voices heard about wanting more for Kiwior.

However, the Gunners have found themselves in a tricky position, because in order for them to move for Piero Hincapie, they need to move Kiwior on first.

It is well-known that Kiwior wants to leave Arsenal in search of regular football, so the Gunners need to find a solution for him.

However, with Porto pretty much the only suitors in the picture and the transfer window closing in just a few days, Arsenal may have to accept it if they want to bring in Hincapie.

Arsenal have had Hincapie on their wishlist for years now, but they’re running out of time to get the dominoes falling.
