Catch all the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours, including updates on Xavi Simons, Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres.
The Gunners are working very hard on the transfer market, with Andrea Berta securing four new signings since his arrival at the Emirates.
Arsenal, however, are not done just yet. The Premier League runners-up are looking for more reinforcements, and work is going on behind the scenes to get deals done.
So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours ahead of another big day of action.
Andrea Berta changes Edu Gaspar’s Arsenal transfer stance
Arsenal have completed the signing of Noni Madueke from Chelsea, and this move has been a long time coming.
The Gunners had admired the England winger for quite some time now, but reports have claimed that former sporting director Edu Gaspar had reservations over a move.
However, things changed following Berta’s arrival, and the Italian granted Mikel Arteta’s wish by signing Madueke despite outside criticism.
Berta, who is one of the most experienced directors in the game, agreeing with Arteta over a move for Madueke is a bit embarrassing for Edu, who was the reason why this transfer did not go through earlier.

Arsenal are interested in signing Xavi Simons
It is no secret that Arsenal are on the market for a new number 10.
The Gunners already have Martin Odegaard and Ethan Nwaneri, but it looks like Arteta is looking for another option at the top of his midfield.
Eberechi Eze has been heavily linked, but rumours have now claimed that Arsenal hold an interest in Xavi Simons, who is a teammate of long-time Gunners target Benjamin Sesko.
It remains to be seen, however, if a deal for Simons is feasible in this window.

Arsenal close in on Viktor Gyokeres signing
Arsenal have been in serious talks to sign Viktor Gyokeres for over a week now.
The Gunners have agreed an initial fee with Sporting CP, but discussions remain ongoing over the add-ons involved in the deal.
Now, it looks like that issue is about to be resolved as well, with Ben Jacobs claiming that Arsenal are close to a ‘full agreement’ to sign Gyokeres.
The journalist tweeted: “Arsenal now close to a full agreement with Sporting for Viktor Gyökeres.
“Hope is for a breakthrough over the weekend, with a small portion of the add-ons still under discussion and Gyokeres waiting for permission to undergo a medical.
“€63.5m+€10m package broadly agreed and only small details left.”
