Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given an update on how Eberechi Eze feels about Arsenal’s transfer approach this summer.
The Gunners have shown long-standing interest in the Crystal Palace star, but finally look set to act on that, with Andrea Berta pushing on with a move.
Arsenal have made enquiries over a deal for Eberechi Eze, with the England international being one of three targets for the forward ranks this summer.
The 27-year-old is a target separate from the approach for a winger and a striker this summer, as Mikel Arteta needs more goal potential out of his side.
With Arsenal making their initial moves for Eberechi Eze, the player has now seemingly responded to the possible deal.

Fabrizio Romano reveals Eberechi Eze is open to an Arsenal transfer this summer in a huge boost
Arsenal’s interest in Eberechi Eze is now well-known, as the versatile playmaker could be available this summer.
There is a £68 million release clause in his contract at Selhurst Park, which opens the way for a move, but far from seals it.
The player will have a key decision to make over a switch to the Emirates Stadium, though it seems that he has given the green light to it.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Eze has “opened doors” to joining Arsenal, with the star claimed to be open to the project and the opportunity to progress further.
Arsenal appear to be collecting all the details on the deal at this stage, before they make a firm offer for the star.
It remains to be seen if that will come, but Eze has already passed one test from Mikel Arteta with flying colours.

Eberechi Eze passes Mikel Arteta’s test by giving green light to Arsenal transfer
Mikel Arteta has previously discussed what he wants from a player, most notably their desire to play for Arsenal.
In the past, the Gunners have missed out on transfer targets, but the Arsenal boss has been adamant that players should want to play for the club.
When speaking about transfer policy in 2022, Arteta claimed: “I haven’t had one time a phone call from a player, or member of staff, or someone in recruitment saying they don’t want to join Arsenal. That’s for sure.
“Then, if they go for financial reasons, that’s something else in their mind. But their willingness to come and be part of this… I haven’t experienced something different, and we are really glad.”
The desire to join is something that Arteta will love, as Eze’s release from the Arsenal academy as a youngster could be the fuel that pushes him on to re-join the club.
Things appear to be moving in a positive direction, as the Gunners continue to shape up their summer business.
