Finally, it appears that Arsenal have made a breakthrough in their race to sign a striker.
Andrea Berta has been closely considering Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, with the Gunners’ choice now clear.
The Swede could be the third player to be unveiled at the Emirates during the 2025 summer transfer window, with Spanish duo Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi announced.
There’s still a lot of work to be done at Arsenal to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad, with several targets still firmly on Berta’s radar.
So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news ahead of another busy day of action.

Martin Zubimendi completes £51m Arsenal transfer
At long last, Arsenal announced the signing of Zubimendi, a player who has been close to an agreement with the club since January.
Real Madrid showed an interest in Zubimendi, but it was Arsenal who landed the Spanish midfielder.
The 26-year-old was presented as a Gunner for the first time on Sunday, with his shirt number confirmed to be 36.

Arsenal close in on Viktor Gyokeres transfer
Renowned journalist David Ornstein confirmed that Arsenal are advancing in talks with Gyokeres.
The Swede has been linked to a transfer for some time, and after talks with Benjamin Sesko stalled, Berta accelerated the deal with Sporting CP for the 27-year-old talisman.
Gyokeres’ relationship with Sporting has grown sour, as the player has made it clear that he is desperate to join Arsenal this summer.
It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can strike a total agreement, with it looking as though the Gunners could land one of Europe’s hottest goal scorers.

Leandro Trossard appoints a new agent
Contract talks with Leandro Trossard have stalled, giving Arteta a decision to make this summer.
Arsenal are looking to upgrade their wide options, with a long list of targets being assessed by Berta.
Noni Madueke has agreed personal terms over a possible transfer, which has alerted both Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli about whom Arsenal are also looking at.
With interest in Eberechi Eze and Rodrygo also known, both the Belgian and the Brazilian are in deep thought about their futures, with Trossard taking action.
