Cristhian Mosquera has passed his Arsenal medical
A young and versatile defender was on Berta’s list of priorities this summer, and Arsenal appear to have sealed a deal for a player that fits this profile.
The Gunners have reached an agreement with Valencia over a move for Cristhian Mosquera, with the deal expected to be worth in the region of £13.8 million with add-ons.
According to Spanish news outlet Superdeporte, Mosquera has passed his medical ahead of the move, after having travelled to London earlier this week.
An announcement is now expected in the coming days.

Viktor Gyokeres preparing for London move despite ongoing negotiations
Despite reaching an agreement in principle around a week ago, Arsenal and Sporting are still in negotiations over Viktor Gyokeres.
The Portuguese club are said to be fighting over every minor detail, which is frustrating the Gunners.
That said, it does appear a full agreement is now an inevitability, with Gyokeres seemingly preparing to move to London.

Fabio Vieira wants to reunite with Carlos Cuesta
Fabio Vieira is surplus to requirements at Arsenal, with the Gunners willing to listen to offers for the Portuguese midfielder.
According to the Times, the North London club have set a £20 million asking price for Vieira.
The publication also report that Vieira is keen on reuniting with former Arsenal coach Carlos Cuesta, who is now the manager of Serie A side Parma.
It remains to be seen whether Parma are able to meet this asking price, although it does appear that the 25-year-old playmaker’s time in North London is up.
