Arsenal could sign three and sell five players in the coming days, one deal is ‘virtually agreed’

Arsenal fans are finally starting to feel the excitement and the optimism that a summer transfer window can bring.

It had been a slow start to an important summer for new sporting director Andrea Berta but in recent days the club have really sparked into life.

Myles Lewis-Skelly’s new Arsenal contract came after a deal had already been secured for defender Gabriel Magalhaes and the club are working on further contract extensions.

Martin Zubimendi signed for Arsenal ending months of speculation that Real Madrid would hijack the deal and now the Gunners are set to add more firepower to their squad in the coming days.

Henry Winter claims Arsenal will sign Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera

According to journalist Henry Winter, the Gunners are expected to complete the signings of Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera in the coming week.

Winter has also revealed that a deal to sign Viktor Gyokeres is ‘virtually agreed’ with negotiations now hinging on add-on payments and agent fees.

With major investment in the team, it is to be expected that there will be a number of departures this summer at the club.

Arsenal are ‘actively’ looking to sell the likes of Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira and Winter has claimed that established first-team stars Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior could also depart.

Eberechi Eze absent from Crystal Palace kit launch amid Arsenal interest

Another player Arsenal have been heavily linked with is Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace and the biggest indication that a deal is in the pipeline has been demonstrated.

Eze was left out of Crystal Palace’s kit launch and being one of their star players, this proves that his future at the club is uncertain.

The England international has a release clause of £68m and Berta has been in negotiations with the Premier League club about the payment structure of that demand.

Should Eze join the expected trio of arrivals at the Emirates, it would finally leave Arteta with a squad strong enough to land a trophy or two in the upcoming campaign.
