Not just Bayern Munich, another club now want Gabriel Martinelli and could offer Arsenal £72.6m deal

Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli is a wanted man this summer as teams continue to circle for a potential transfer switch.

The Brazilian star is facing an uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium after a season of mixed success for the Gunners.

With a dwindling contract situation and a potential incoming or two in the forward line, Gabriel Martinelli is one of those who could suffer as a result.

It comes as little surprise that interest is being shown in a move from clubs elsewhere, as the 24-year-old faces an important year at Arsenal.

Al-Nassr want Gabriel Martinelli in potential Arsenal transfer switch

Gabriel Martinelli has been eyed by Bayern Munich for a potential transfer this summer, with the Arsenal star attracting attention.

At 24 years old, the winger still has plenty of room to grow and improve further, but it’s unclear whether that will be in North London or not.

It’s not just Bayern Munich who are showing interest in Martinelli, though, as Al-Nassr from the Saudi Pro League are also looking at a deal.

That’s according to Ben Jacobs, who claims that the Arsenal forward is certainly of interest and has been discussed as an option.

Liverpool’s Luis Diaz is claimed to be the top target, with an offer worth €85 million (£72.6 million) being lined up.

If they miss out on the Colombian international, then that money could well turn towards Arsenal and an offer for Martinelli.

Gabriel Martinelli transfer would prove a success to Arsenal

As teams look to swoop for Martinelli this summer, Arsenal will feel as though their approach with the winger has worked.

The Gunners paid just £6 million to sign the Brazilian from second-tier side Ituano, easing him into the team.

It has been one of the biggest bargains in recent history, as he rose to the senior side and has been a regular ever since.

While that has proven to be huge for Mikel Arteta, it could be even bigger as a deal if he is sold.

A deal in the region of £72.6 million would be Arsenal’s club-record sale, and by some distance as well.

That would underscore just how big the deal has been, whether he stays or leaves.
